Job Role: Financial Controller – Analyst
As an Analyst in the Firmwide Financial Control (FFC) team, you will be supporting financial processes, collaborating with controllers, and ensuring accurate reporting across JP Morgan’s global legal entities.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with Financial/Legal Controllers to prepare & review financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy in ledger and risk systems by clearing exceptions and researching variances.
- Perform monthly General Ledger Reconciliation & Substantiation.
- Maintain compliance with US GAAP and/or IFRS standards.
- Participate in system testing for business implementations and changes.
- Maintain appropriate account hierarchies and reference data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS Standards.
- Understanding of investment banking products like securities and derivatives.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret data flows and their impact across systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CA/MBA with 1+ year of relevant experience (Controllers or Finance preferred).
- Prior exposure to financial systems, risk management tools, or UATs.
- Experience with regulatory reporting will be a plus.
